it could almost be considered shy; the way nooj silently handed over a small, cute but angry looking bear with the string of a balloon tied around it. the balloon read: be mine. with the addition of black sharpie in nooj's handwriting that read: 'if you want, of course'. ❛ i'm not exactly experienced with valentines gifts, so, i hope you don't hold it against me.❜
Yuna had been sitting quietly on the couch, with Moa’s head in her lap and Meyvn at her feet. On the coffee table before her, the red ribbon and blue bowtie from earlier had been removed from the dogs. Moa had removed it from her head shortly after the reveal, and so it only made sense to remove Meyvn’s bowtie, too (not after taking some pictures of them, of course). Nooj had disappeared into some room down the hall. It nearly surprised her when he returned, teddy bear in hand. Both Moa and Meyvn’s heads rose to look at their other parent.
Immediately, her face broke into a smile. The first thing she noticed was the balloon’s message: ‘Be mine. If you want, of course.” It made Yuna laugh, seeing the additional messaging, handwritten by Nooj himself. He was really funny in his own little way, wasn’t he? Carefully, she moved from the couch toward him, smiling ever so brightly as she reached for the angered plush in his hands. She laughed again, getting a closer look at the bear’s angry expression. She embraces it tightly, before turning it around to look back at him. “He looks just like you, actually! I think we’ll call him... Noojie? Nooj JR?” She teases him, a mischievous glint in her mismatched eyes.
Holding it securely in one hand, she raises herself up on her toes, holding onto Nooj’s shoulder to support herself. Yuna is on one side of his face, while she holds the bear on the other. As she gives Nooj a kiss on his cheek, she has the bear match her action, making it kiss Nooj on his other cheek. With a satisfied grin, she pulls away, holding the bear tightly against her chest. “He’s so cute, Nooj. I love it, thank you! He’ll always remind me of you, that’s for sure!”
