Repost @laurie_winter with @make_repost ・・・ I was told these rocks are known as Tom and Eva, named after the sole two survivors of a shipwreck at this spot (Loch Ard Gorge). However there must be a bit more to the story, as the rocks used to be joined across the top in a bridge formation. In any case, it was a beautiful sunset at this spot and not nearly as chaotically busy as at the Twelve Apostles. I couldn’t have imagined how busy though! Still, my hopes were for one decent sunrise and I have to say I was not at all disappointed with this scene at the famous 12 Apostles. There really are moments in life where you just can’t quite believe how beautiful our world is. I Still Call Australia Home 🇦🇺 ••• When we lived overseas, we discovered that we missed the little (or not so little) things!
