Page 6. ----- TIMMINS, ONT., April 2— CP— An elaborate buzzer system failed to protect Aurel Charbonneau, who was arrested early yesterday by provincial police and charged with keeping liquor for sale. He is also charged with having liquor not legally purchased.
According to police, Charbonneau installed a buzzer- system, the button for which was cleverly concealed in the outside wall of the house. This protection was still in working order when police were keeping observation on the place but it failed to protect Charbonneau when, it is charged, he was caught filling a large glass with liquor from a bottle hidden in a snowbank a short distance from the house. He was remanded for a week in police court this morning.
