Hi! For your 5ish sentence prompts if you want, I've had this stuck in my head all damn day (buddie):
"I'm the backup plan, Eddie!"
"I'm the backup plan, Eddie!" Buck snaps. "Christopher needs you to be okay!"
Eddie's sitting on the bench in front of him, staring at his hands like he's unsure why the callouses of his head line and his heart line are curved in different directions. Sitting here, Buck could answer the question for him.
"I know that," Eddie whispers. "I have to be. I am."
"You're not," he replies softly, hoping Eddie won't take it as an accusation; he nudges Eddie's knee with his own. "But I've got your back. So you will be."
