A trip to Alnwick:
I went to Northumberland recently and I visited Alnwick castle. If you didn’t already know that was where the first two Harry Potter movies were shot, (parts of them), and we even did a movie tour there where we learnt about the locations of certain scenes! Namely the first flying lesson scene and the scene where Wood teachers Harry how to play quidditch.

I also went to Barter Books, an bookshop in Alnwick with half a million second hand books! It was literally book heaven. I’m pretty sure the bookshop was created in the abandoned train station.

The Massolit Bookshop and Café, Budapest
August is almost over and so is my short holiday in Budapest. Found a second-hand copy of My Name is Lucy Barton by Elizabeth Strout in this lovely little place ✨
Lastest haul! All but Call Down the Hawk and Children of Blood and Bone are secondhand! The secondhand store was having a sale, so I had to indulge 🤷♀️ ♻️
