my ears were red when i left tonight because of all that i was thinking and not saying again
I want to put words everywhere. Cover my skin in words. Let them be clunky, ugly, and unpronounceable— just let them be heard.
THE PRETTY THINGS I NEVER SAID, sienna méndez, 2019

Venice, CA 💙|💚Seattle, WA Last week I journeyed up the Pacific Coast. An 1100 mile transition out of one dream and into another. I, surprisingly, felt a little heavy during the journey. Driving through an onslaught of emotions as each mile marker passed me by. As a writer, I can't help but fall deeply in love with every story. In love with every ending. In love with every beginning. Each person, each place, each memory as lovely as a light gust of wind caressing my cheek - not to be held onto - to appreciate in the moment. Today I, thankfully, feel light again. I've embraced the range of emotions and memories that flowed through me. Welcoming each one into their rightful place in my higher self, forever a part of the pieces that make my greater whole. I'm grateful to be back in Seattle. For round two. Of creating. Of writing. Of loving. Of following through on a vision that started out as only a dream. I won't stop until it's done. Then I'll transition...once again...into a new dream. Happy Sunday. Keep journeying. Keep dreaming. Keep doing you. Much love & light, -Stella
