The Unordinary Poem
Everything I’ve dreamt was only a “dream’
A dream that cannot be real, away from reality
Reality that I’ve always wanted to feel, to experience and to see
But distractions came and broke our plans then you left me.
I never doubted you, but you never trusted me
I never left you, but you already unloved me
I never cried in front of you, but you made me cried in front of them
I never loved anyone, but you let me love you among these men.
You were there, she was there
I was there, but what? You never tried anything,
Now they’re telling that you were someone’s everything
Leaving me shattered, broken and left me nothing.
You said I was a great person, but why left me hanging?
You said there’s no spark but why does my heart doesn’t want to be apart?
You said it’s not me but its you who fell out without knowing,
Still I was the one who hoped, hoped that you were just joking.
I tried holding on but I was tired of pretending,
I tried letting go and left you without understanding.
I tried pretending again, until I was tired of showing,
Pretending that I COULD FORGET, but FAILED cause my heart isn’t dead.
I know this piece isn’t the perfect one.
I know it’s a mess and everything’s unsaid,
You know this is not the usual style, no this is not the end,
Because this is an unordinary poem I have in mind that no one can mend.
