Honestly, I'm interested in all of them buuuut if I had to really narrow it down it'd be 4,8,9,18 🙌
Good questions there, love! We'll go down that list.
4) A story idea you haven’t written yet
I have a lot of ideas, and a few that I haven't written anything for. Someone else has asked this question after you now that I am answering these, but I will share one for you, and one for them.
I am currently working on a Law AU long fic. I say "currently working" loosely. There... are three sentences on it. Usually, like I have shown in past questions and things in other ask the writer stuff, I write out outlines to get big concepts and plots down. That way I can have a better idea of what the story and plot will do. Otherwise, it all lives rent free in my head.
But, honestly, have not done that, yet.
That doesn't mean it won't. Just haven't really sat down to do it. Currently, I am in a super busy part of my year with work and other things, so I will admit, I am not working much on writing, nor am I stressing about it. When I get the urge to write, I do it, but I have been working on plotting out so many projects. Come January of 2025, I wish to work on writing at a minimum 500 words a day, and by August trying to write a minimum of 1,000 words a day. Just small steps to make better habits for my writing.
Just realized that was a lot to say for the actual story idea, lol. My mind goes as I start going. ANYWAY, the story itself is one where Law is a sorcerer and pulls up a contract from your great great grandfather essentially to take you away. It's really convoluted, but there will be hauntings, magic, and a shit ton of pinning and intrigue!
8) If you had to write a sequel to a fic, you’d write one for…
I actually have a sequel to Magnets that I am working on for Killer. I also plan on maybe eventually writing a few spinoff sequels for some of my Monster Fucktober one shots that are done, so we can see where the road takes us going forward! Like the Kitsune Kaku bath house, Zoro x Kaku demon ones, and possibly even the Shanks Dragon one.
9) Start to finish, how long did it take you to write the last fic you posted?
Which one did I post last? I need to go look at dates, hold on.
So, Laundry Day (Zoro x Reader) was the last one I posted, and it was something that I had started writing back in December of 2022. I had written a lot of it, and then got stuck on the ending. Originally, it was going to be smutty, but the more I would reread it, it just didn't feel right. A lof of my fluff/sfw doesn't get read as often as the N.SFW things, and then I was was also just focusing on other works and things. So needless to say, it just kept getting pushed back for other things I was working on. Then I just read over it again more recently, and managed to finish it up in about a week.
Then, I had Hush (Kaku x Reader x Lucci sandwich) that came about from some chats with friends of mine from a silly dream I had. That one I stared over the summer of this year, and finished by the fall. So while it was a few months, it was done much faster.
It really just depends on where my inspiration lies. Some of my Monster Fucktobers I finished in the course of a few days. Some of them took me months. It really depends. I am getting away from rushing myself and forcing things when they aren't there, and it has made a huge change on my mental/physical health. It took me a year to write all of Magnets from start to finish, but I was keeping myself on a very strict schedule, and I would never do that to myself again.
18) If you keep them, share a deleted sentence or paragraph from a published fic.
I do actually keep deleted parts of stories. I am a weirdo who never gets rid of anything. I will sometimes copy and paste the parts I want to keep back into things, but I will rewrite from start to finish if I feel like something isn't working.
But as far as "deleted" goes, let me see what I can find.
[Puts on hold music again.]
Here is one from a currently deleted story that may never resurface. We'll see what happens. It's actually a small paragraph, but still.
Zoro slipped out of his slumber as Luffy came bounding into the room at the inn. It was their last day on this island, but they still had a half a day’s journey back to the port town where the Sunny sat in wait for them. He lay there staring at the ceiling as Luffy bounced about the room like the excitable child full of sugar he truly was.
And that's that. I hope these answers were to your satisfaction, love! Muwah! 💋
