Okay, okay *hyperventilates* I am really bad at this kind of thing but...since they said they'd be excited to see it...@quinloki please take my humble fanart of your fanfic Quicksand. I have always, and will always, rave about this fanfiction. I read it, I devoured it, I breathed it. It's the fic that got me back into writing fics myself and it will always have a very special place in my heart, hence why I made this fanart. It's inspired by Chapter 2 Miss Wednesday when reader bumps into Sir Crocodile, as well as the little comic snippet in Chapter 19. Although reader's hair is a bit longer in my fanart, I tried to stick to the inspo as much as possible.
Is it perfect? No. But am I happy with it? 100%. I tried my best, and while there's room for improvement, I am happy with how it turned out. Though, admittedly, I peaked when I shaded reader and it went downhill from there for the background, but those thighs are glistening, so I'm happy.
Also...Buggy. Now that I finished the fanart, I can roll back under my blankets and relax. There's still a huge backlog of Quin's newer fics I have to catch up with (Birds of a feather is glaring at me in this very moment), but I'll get to them once I have time. Oh, and I actually quite enjoyed making fanart of fanfics. There are a few others I have in mind and I hope someday I get the time to make some fanart for those other immensely talented authors as well.
