[ captain u ⫽ sms ⫽ sent ] ⟶ So after having wine with the girls they wanted some food and you know after a few, bottles or glasses you decide, things get a bit much. [ captain u ⫽ sms ⫽ sent ] ⟶ We read on FairyNet that bread you know sobers them up so we could go out to a party and well I was like perfect ‘grilled cheese’ it’s easy everyone loves it [ captain u ⫽ sms ⫽ sent ] ⟶ I then make like 7/8 slices for the girls and Ruby turns around being like ‘i don’t want cheese on it’ after I’ve made it so I scrape the cheese off [ captain u ⫽ sms ⫽ sent ] ⟶ What a princess seriously. Just eat the cheese... [ captain u ⫽ sms ⫽ sent ] ⟶ Any who, I scrape the cheese off, wasting it. So technically it is cheese-less grilled cheese, well more cheese infused grilled cheese. Tell me I’m not a genius?

     Gil hummed as he swabbed the deck, dancing a little bit with the mop in his hand because... well... nobody was looking! “What’s my name, what’s my name...” he mumbled under his breath, “shrimpy, say it louder, UMA!” The last word - her actual name - ended up being yelled as he did a half jumping jack, ending up looking like a starfish when he stopped moving. Little did he know, the person who’s name he was singing was close enough to hear him. When he saw movement out of the corner of his eye and whipped around to look, his eyes were wide. Hopefully, hopefully she didn’t hear him say shrimpy. Gil grinned at her innocently. “Hey, Captain!”

It would have been obvious to others who knew well of his kind he was anything but dead. His heart was still beating despite it being weaker for a time. His breathing had gone quite shallow after a vicious fight had happened. Carefully, he pushed himself up and wiped the blood off his face only to glance toward the woman carefully with hazy blue eyes for a few moments. “My body was trying to rapidly heal up. It will take more than that to finish me off, I assure you, Uma.”

            visibly  FLINCHES  at  the  sound  of  her  phone  telling  her  it’s  bedtime  going  off  .   she’s  so  forgetful  ,   sometimes  -  and  sometimes  the  sounds  are  simply  OVERWHELMING  to  her  average  ears  .   she  guesses  it  comes  with  that  rfa  territory   ,    nothing  like  some  trauma  to  go  with  notifications  .   still  ,   she’ll  play  it  off  as  a  joke  ,   chuckle  awkwardly  .     ‘  my  phone’s  really  tryna  fix  my  sleep  schedule  ,   huh ?   joke’s  on  them  :   i’ve  never  had  a  decent  one  .   why  would  i  suddenly  change  that  now ?  ’
