Anyways.

So my dad used to be a 4th-grade teacher but they moved him up to 8th grade this year.

He got a grant for classroom pets.

He's getting a chameleon (he was going to get two but then they'll eat each other)

He has like a frick ton of money from the grant to get these pets so he's also getting tree frogs, a bearded dragon, and I am trying to convince him to get a turtle.

The chameleons' name is Hector Zeroni (Zero) from Holes.

The bearded dragons' name is Stanley Yelnats (also from Holes)

The frogs will be named various Holes characters.

The problem that lies with the turtles is that I, not only, have to convince him to get a turtle.

But I also have to convince him to dropped the Holes theme just this one time so that he can fulfill my childhood dream of having a turtle named either Scuba Steve or Tiny Tim.
