      He watches patiently, one, two, three flicks and he can’t stop staring at the ears atop the other boy’s head with the chance they might move again and he’ll miss it. At first, Ventus had thought they weren’t real since he’d never seen a person with ears like cat or dog before, but then they moved and if that wasn’t the most convincing piece of evidence that they were real then he didn’t know what was. He was fascinated by them even though they were just ears since nowhere in his traveling to other worlds had he seen something like them before. 

which is why when a particularly striking head of long, white hair comes into her field of vision, accompanied by a set of ears sitting atop it, she doesn’t even think twice about striding up to the stranger. she absolutely can’t resist the temptation in her bones. she has to touch them. 

and she does, slender digits gently grasping one very realistic ear on the man’s head, as casually as humanly possible and without warning. 

if he became angry, she’d back off, but until then--
