if you're using PhotoShop, select your line art layer, just Above where you can select which layer you're working on it says "lock" with a few different icons. you want the lil checkerboard looking thing. should say "lock transparent pixels" when u hover over it. if you click that then you can re-color your lineart with whatever brush u like, but you can't delete any part of your lines unless you unlock it
ooh ye!! locking transparency is a godsend, that’s what i currently do (when i’m not lazy and just leave it black lol), i was just wondering if there was some other trick to multiply/overlay/something the lines so they matched the colors better than just eyeballing color choice :’’)
