But to answer your ask, I'll give you a quick rundown of Haunt and then describe Alter:

Haunt is a jjk fic following my OC, Ana. Yeah the one I kept making OC character sheets for. She is basically trying to actively change fate and one of the futures her mother saw with her foresight technique, but all along the way people are dying and leaving their marks on her. Haunting the narrative, if you will. She does this until she too dies and haunts the narrative. There's also some canon plot in there or smth lolz.

Alter is basically Ana seeing the two possible futures put forth by her mother in Haunt, and instead of going "actually I choose Secrets Third Thing which I will create on my own" she chooses "Lesser Evil." Lesser Evil involves a marriage of politics to a younger peer who may or may not still be tied to the disaster awaiting them in the future. Instead of being the lesser evil, it becomes the tragedy she was avoiding all along.
