How does Hope respond to finding out her child was a/possessed by a monster murderer? How does someone even follow up on something like that?? šÆ
Honestly? I didnāt have a whole lot about that in my notes. It was one of those things that I really wantedĀ to happen, but wasnāt sure how well it would work. And I was mostly just going toĀ āplay it by earā so to speak.
Unfortunately Hope didnāt get a whole lot of spotlight in ACT Three, as you guys probably noticed when reading that long post about the ending.
Eventually sheās find some sort of peace about it, especially after finding out the truth, but then thereās still thatĀ āyou lied to meā aspect that Hope really gets hung up on.
At least it's not bees. Just crabs. You have crabs. Lots.

Dramatic plotlines, absolutely! Tactics are fun but... You know me. Iām all about that story.

I got hit by a gnome launched from a trebuchet once. It ended up becoming a recurring joke that all my characters had awful luck with gnomes.

12) They get arrested, and thrown in jail, how do they escape?
Oh geez, Havine getting arrested? I mean, letās assume itās through like corrupt means, since sheās such a goody-two-shoes and wouldnāt ever be lawfully imprisoned...
Probably liberal use of the Command spell to get them to get her out of her cell. Then brute force if necessary, but preferably Hold Person to let her evade any guards that might try to stop her. Sheād try to keep serious violence down to a minimum if she could.
13) Would they leave their party for any reason?
Sheās got a pretty strong moral compass, and it would really depend on the stakes. If the party turns into a bunch of murder-hobos sheād leave, possibly to find authorities to have them taken care of. But as of right now sheād do her best to keep them moderately in check because deep down she doesnāt want to see people getting hurt.Ā
Also, as of this moment, if Relentless had a good enough reason to want to part with their company, sheād go with him.
