Ok can we talk about this scene in AOT's S4E65? Where Willy Tybur was talking about the history of the Eldians?
It must be me overthinking but I just noticed the characters in the play have blindfolds.
Even the King Fritz has one.
I was thinking it's a kind of symbolism where they rule blindly. And in this play they literally showed it and it's up to the audience to interpret it. I was also thinking that this whole series was about clash of ideologies and this symbolism shows that the governing bodies of Marley and Paradis were driven by their ideologies. Their leaders were the ones who stick to the ideologies they hold. This then resulted to their people being used as pawns in their power play.
But, on the other hand, Paradis now has Historia as their queen and she knows the truth that the Scouting Corps had uncovered while she was with them. She might turn the wheel away from the path her predecessors have paved.
I'm still halfway through the 4th season though hehe
PS sorry for the crappy screencaps!
