Douglas and Frankfurter never really made up but they hated each other so much (Douglas would leave the room whenever Frankfurter spoke too long and go and read a newspaper or lie down on the couch - Frankfurter mainly felt disrespected by younger less judicially sophisticated BRATS.) Frankfurter and Jackson weren't close in life - they were more bonded in mutual distaste for Black and Douglas, but after Jackson's death, Jackson's biographer told Frankfurter that Jackson considered talking with him one of the "few respises from an otherwise unhappy situation" (he had depression :().
