If I haven't experienced an injured wrist, I prolly wouldn't have developed a fear for #handstand. I strained it last Nov & its just this month that I can close my fist without hurting it. It super cumbersome that I wouldn't want to do anything with my hands that might strain my wrist & would make me go through it again.. Tagam! 😁 It explains why I'm not really eager to practice handstands on my own + the fact that we don't have an empty wall in our Apt. I'm inlove with the thought of being able to do a #scorpionheadstand. Imagine, how cool is it to be connected with your body and you can easily command it to "do scorpion or dolphin or mermaid!" smoothly. its the closest thing to having super power! Now I recalled Son Goku's one handstand push up. But I digress, yes, I'm thinking that I would never be able to conquer my fear if I wouldn't be able to practice as often as I can. Even if I have an awesome teacher to show me how this is done correctly and easily if I can only execute it once a week on our Thur session, its pointless. Like they say, practicing handstand 3x a week is sub optimal. 1x a week is a waste of time.. So what do u think is my biggest prob now? My fear of getting injured or the lack of space? Hehe. Thinking too much eh? Anyway, let me just stare a moment longer at this photo and allow me to revel in this small sense of pride/achievement of that mini mini scorpion pose I did while guided by my awesome teacher. 😜 #yoga #restbutdontgiveup? 💪 #LIFEisTooSimpleButWEcomplicateIT
