Hearing the lieutenant's voice behind her almost made Gina jump out of her skin. She let out a yelp and let go of her hair, which fell past her shoulders some of the Bobby pins falling to the floor. Toby on the other hand, was now an excited pup, seeing the new friend and also picking up the scent of Black Hayate from her clothes. The little dog began searching around to see if the other dog was here.

"Tryin' ta gimme a 'eart attack?" Gina blushed, trying to hide her face behind her bangs.

"I hope I'm not bothering you. I enjoyed getting to talk with you before, and though I'm not exactly a bar person, it's the only place I could really think of to come tonight."

When Emory was working at the bar she noticed a familiar face. "Oh, you're not bothering me at all." They assured her before sliding down someone's order towards them before she began to get her drink ready. "What will ya have tonight then, beautiful?"

"What if I told you I was?" Emory couldn't stop staring at her when they were watching from afar when they weren't close by. She was gorgeous and beautiful and Emory wanted to get to know her better. "What would you do about that?" There was a twinkle in their eyes.

Hawkeye, now, huh?

He... supposed they were justified in being worried. Edward didn't like it, wasn't comfortable with people fussing over him, but there was no way he could stop Hawkeye if she'd decided to check on him.

"...Fine." He grumbled, unwilling to be as thorny with her as he was with Mustang. Mustang might take it, but Hawkeye, if he knew her, sure as shit would not. "I'm fine, I'm just mad at him." And himself.

Technically he wasn't fine at all - Hughes was dead and quite possibly directly because of him (and he hadn't even got to go to the funeral) and despite knowing who did it, he couldn't do a damn thing about it.
