I think there is something to be said about v!Legundo and Louis and how their stories seem to parallel each other in relation to v!Owen.
Two people that Owen has connections to with the hearts to see the best in humanity, while also understanding how warped human perspective can be.
Louis’ death was the final straw that catalyzed Owen feeling towards humans and Legundo’s philosophy and hope of change directly contrasts Owen’s warped perspective.
Without much backstory on Louis I think he deeply loved Oakhurst and its people regardless that they were humans. And while Legundo may not love everyone he helps, and knows the darkness that leaks from humanity, he still sees the good that comes from mortality.
With all that, I really hope we see more of Legundo and Owen interacting with each other in the coming episodes.
