Self expression is so important to me, but I feel like I fail at it, hiding in my room and from the world.
Look at the bright side, you're never alone with schizophrenia If you are schizophrenic and you are offended by this, you can both go fuck yourselves

Just found out that my long time best friend was diagnosed with schizophrenia a couple months back and I need help. I want to support her and show that I love her so so much but I also don't want to hinder the recovery process while she tries to learn how to manage it. How do I do this? I'm so scared because schizophrenia is such a foreign subject to me and I've only ever heard it used violently, which she isn't. It's 'progressing', I don't know if that's the right word, very quickly and all I want to do is keep a steady friendship but be beneficial in every way possible. For example, how do I react with her delusions and hallucinations? How do I bring up the idea of staying in treatment being a good thing? Help Help Help
I'm Not A Scizophrenic
And neither am I
