Hereâs to hoping that every single person with schizophrenia or a schizoaffective disorder or DID or NPD or any other ridiculously demonized mental illnesses has a wonderful day
the yj fandom makes lottieâs character so centred around her schizophrenia and yet sheâs so still mischaracterised when it comes to it!!!
Can we talk about the pain that comes from shifts? & other clcz things
Going from one form to another makes my knees ache, feel wobbly and strange. Like rn I couldn't walk very successfully. I feel like my physical disabilities have to have something to do with me being a wolf, or that the only reason I have them is due to me being in the wrong form. I just know something happened to me. I'm starting to get memories from before I was like this, but its hard to peice together. Maybe one day I'll know.
I'd love to hear about other clcz creatures experiences with shifting and pain, or just anything you wanna share about your journey. I don't like to dm, but I really want to connect with other (clcz labled) creatures like me.
âim so schizoâ âim so autisticâ âim so ocdâ âi didnt get my daily boba today im so depressedâ SHUT UP. SHUT UPPPPP!!!!!

Scratch may have been Schizophrenic.
(Or something like it)
It explains why no one else could really understand him because his thoughts were disorganised.
Explains why he was the first to abstract, as this would have caused him to be mentally unstable.
Schizophrenia or symptoms like it can be caused by brain tumours such as the one Kinger says Scratch has.
Right after Kinger mentions the tumour the camera cut to this muffin. Schizophrenia is a split mind disorder and the muffin is split in half. The crumb on the plate may be his tumour as well.
Saw a post and wanted to do my own on it but edited it slightly
If you advocate for mental health awareness, but joke about things like intrusive thoughts and schizophrenia(now Iâm not talking about for coping purposes, itâs the bad kind of joking), think itâs disgusting and lazy when people who are depressed canât do things like showering or cleaning their room, use terms like ânarcissistic abuseâ, and believe that having ASPD, BPD, or NPD makes someone a bad person, you are not a mental health advocate.
There is such a thing as âa bad person can have an illness, but an illness doesnât make someone badâ
A bad person can have NPD, just as much as a good person. A bad person can have cancer, just as much as a good person. Life doesnât pick who gets what, so donât blame an illness for the person who has it.
(If this gets reblogged or commented on, I wonât respond to hate. Block and move on is my immediate choice so heads up! However I donât mind if people add on to this)
One time I went to a museum and there was a piece of paper with dots PRINTED on it (not raised at all) instead of braille.
And this is funny because itâs ridiculous that smth like this could happen but itâs also really sad because it shows how little people care about accessibility. If we actually gave a shit abt disabled people the world would be a much better place.
The special ed programs at my middle school were terrible. I know because I was a teaching assistant in one of the classes. They made the autistic students sit in the loud cafeteria to help them get over their âfearâ and got mad when they had meltdowns from the overwhelm.
The two Deaf teachers at my high school had to have students on duty to answer their phones because they still got phone calls despite not being able to hear them (and despite google chat being a working messaging system all the staff used)
When visibly disabled people do anything online, people comment things like âwhat happened to you?â And âwow, I thought my life was hard.â
When someone with an invisible disability posts about their disability they get told theyâre faking.
When disabled people joke about their disability, people say theyâre âbecoming self aware.â
People within the disabled community hate on other disabled people for not being âdisabled enough.â
People with intellectual disabilities get talked over and shut down.
Families of disabled people mourn the abled relatives they wish they had more than they love their disabled relatives
People with Down Syndrome are mocked and their condition is used as an insult.
ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and depression arenât taken seriously.
Mentally ill people are treated like inhuman creatures, especially if they have Cluster B disorders, CDDs, or experience psychosis or hallucinations.
Disabled people who need less support are ableist to those who need more support.
I know Iâm rambling but it genuinely makes me so mad. How hard is it to show everyone support when they need it?? Genuinely??
I hope this makes sense and isnât too hard to read, I wrote it in a rage đ
