"Goodness! Everything's a mess in here! Are you alright? What happened? Did something explode again?"

Victor stares at the kitchen with dread. He does....not know how to cook. Uh oh.

Father Ward stood outside the church on a gloomy early evening, feeling a migraine coming on from listening to the Saints bickering like children all afternoon over rope and feeling a growing pressure in the air. He leaned against the wall and found himself closing his eyes to light a cigarette and take a long drag. A heavy sigh released the smoke from his lungs and John allowed the tension from his shoulders to finally relax. And then there was a few drops of rain that fell from the dark clouds. Of course.

John opened his eyes in time to notice someone approaching, be it a member of the cult's congregation or someone seeking shelter from the rain that was starting to fall harder, he wasn't sure from this distance. John took one more drag before he put out his cigarette and was careful to exhale away from the stranger, offering a polite smile and lowered gaze.

He really still isn't used to being called grandpa. In fact, he's not used to being involved in anything regarding his creations at all. Still, it's hard for him to say no to them, so he sighs and waves a hand, pushing his card over to them before they finish speaking.
