Welcome to my first official textpost, this one’s gonna be about ENTROPY!

“Delta. What’s entropy?”

Well, I’m glad you asked, take a seat, let me learn you a thing or two about entropy.

The quick explanation is entropy is the measure of disorder in a system. The more ordered the system is, the less stable it is, and vice versa, the less ordered the system is, the more stable it is.

“How the [place an expletive of your choice here] am I supposed to remember that?”

Think of it this way.

When you have a messy room, it takes less energy to maintain, right? When the room is messy, you can toss whatever you want anywhere, it’s not really going to mess with the state of the room: messy.

When you have a clean room, if you toss things around, it’s going to make that room messy. The more energy put into a system and the more ordered it is, the more unstable and easy to mess up it’s going to be.
