“Curse? What d’ya mean by curse?” He looks the creature up and down--their appearance doesn’t shock him in the slightest. Over the years, he’s encountered all sorts of beings from different dimensions, so he knows better by now than to react poorly to someone who looks different than himself. 

The flashlight beam drops and a bearded face appears over it in the dark, wrapped in shadow--night’s fallen, and the sky is inky black. He’s been walking for some distance, searching for signs of life, and this is the first he’s seen to give any indication that this world, wherever he may be, is inhabited. 

“I’m a traveler.” The blond replies, holding the light beam toward the ground so as not to shine in their face. “Who’re you?”
