starting out, i thought that arlo was going to be an INTJ ( the architect ), but was not too far off when he received an INTP ( which i completely agree with ) ! INTPs are detached, analytical observers who can seem oblivious to the world around them because they are so deeply absorbed in thought. they spend much of their time focused internally: exploring concepts, making connections, and seeking understanding. they are preoccupied with theory, and search for the universal law behind everything they see. they want to understand the unifying themes of life, in all their complexity. 

arlo is turbulent rather than assertive, which shows up in the way that he is success-driven, a perfectionistic, and eager to improve. “turbulent personalities are always trying to counterbalance their self-doubts by achieving more. just as they push themselves to become better, they’re as likely to push their projects or efforts in the same direction. turbulent personality types tend to notice little problems and often do something about them before they become larger ones.” ( lol- for arlo, i think it depends on what the issue surrounds. little problems that are not related to his emotions and vulnerabilities can get handled asap, but the moment he feels a bit of pressure he detaches and the issues blow up in a major way as a result. )

⊹ Relaxed and Easy-going – INTPs are flexible and can adapt to situations, which Arlo is well versed in. He can be seen as light to be with since he is often willing to compromise with his friends or people close to him, and is not one to complain over trivial things. 

⊹ Enthusiastic – When a new idea piques his interest, Arlo can be very enthusiastic. He is a reserved personality type, but if another person shares an interest, he can be downright excited about discussing it. More likely though, the only outward evidence of this enthusiasm will be his silent pacing or staring into the distance unless pressed to share.

⊹ Objective – Logicians’ analysis, creativity and open-mindedness aren’t the tools of some quest for ideology or emotional validation. ⊹ Honest and Straightforward – To know one thing and say another would be terribly disingenuous – Logicians don’t often go around intentionally hurting feelings, but they believe that the truth is the most important factor, and they expect that to be appreciated and reciprocated. Obviously nobody likes lying, or being lied to, and although he strives to refrain from any sort of dishonesty, Arlo can still withhold from speaking his truth out of fear, but that more so centers on his vulnerabilities. Otherwise, he’s not concerned giving his honest feedback to his those that ask.

⊹ Very Private and Withdrawn –  When it comes to Arlo’s thoughts and emotions he can consider it an intrusion when others try to get a better understanding and insight, even for those that he is closest to. In a social setting he can sometimes feel a bit shy and reserved, which is then amplified in large crowds that cause him to fly into a mode similar to ‘auto-pilot’.  In this type of setting he can feel the need to appease those around him, and will attempt to be flexible and essentially mute his needs and desires.

⊹ Absent-minded – When Arlo’s interest is captured by something, his absence goes beyond social matters to include the rest of the physical world. He can become forgetful, missing even the obvious if it’s unrelated to his current infatuation. Often times this looks like forgetting his own health, skipping meals and sleep as he muses, as well as pushing those around him away as he dissolves into what he’s found captivating. 

⊹ Condescending – An issue that Arlo struggles with is feeling that his ideals and point of views are not being properly understood. In instances where he feels as though his conversation partner is unable to understand him, his means to simplify can come off as condescending and insulting. He can grow dismissive and try to end the conversation when he feels like he’s alone in his belief and his need to isolate becomes clear. 

⊹ Loathe Rules and Guidelines – Arlo has a strong desire to bypass the rules, of social conduct and otherwise, with the hope of feeling some kind of adrenaline rush as a result. While this attitude helps him strengthen unconventional creativity, it also causes him to reinvent the wheel constantly and to shun security in favor of autonomy in ways that can compromise both. This can be seen when he’s with Nikki, as they both continuously strive to push limits and often behave in dicey manners.

so i’m happy that i got pretty close with what i thought sirena would be ! instead of her being sensing or observant, she’s more intuitive, which honestly i can see that now.

over all, sirena rose is a VERY outgoing and excitable person. if she’s not surrounded by people and exploring new things, then she gets very restless and will often do reckless things just to get the heart pounding. she cares deeply for those she holds close to her heart, and there’s nothing in the world she wouldn’t do for them. hiding her emotions are practically impossible, and it actually doesn’t take very much to quickly push her over the edge with anger. despite being able to stand up for herself at any given moment, she also hates the idea of anyone she cares about disliking her. losing people close to her is probably her biggest fear. MISS INDEPENDENT by KELLY CLARKSON would be her theme song at this point in time, for sure.
