So I got my report card for first quarter.
This is 100% real, raw, uncensored...
Advanced Engineering (which I never requested nor showed any sign of interest in, which is probably why they put me in it!) - F. "Seems like she is just hear for the ride. No real effort exhibited." Yes, a teacher with 20 years experience spelled "here" wrong.
Chemistry - F. "...has stopped completing assignments." There are two kinds of people in the world: those who care about school and those who know a diploma won't get you anywhere when the economy crashes and no one will hire you anyway because they can't afford to pay the employees.
Drawing - A+. No comment, thank god. Because the teacher likes me (in a strictly platonic way) and he's the only one I know who keeps comic books in the classroom.
Language Arts IV - F. "Missing most assignments." Because YOU, teacher-lady, haven't got a clue how to handle a room of 17- and 18-year-olds. And you're waaaaaayy too perky.
Pre-Calculus - F. "Did not do well on Unit 1 test. Does not seem interested to be in class" - damn straight! - "usually reads... This focus needs to change if she wants to earn passing grades."
Creative Writing - F. Why I have it again this year, I don't know. It's not a required class. And how the fuck do they think writing can be TAUGHT? It is INBORN. Some people are born writing, and some can only do "moon/june" love songs to nonexistent muses. I was once the latter.
As I have said before, and will likely say many times more, school is a lovely institution...but who wants to be in an institution?!
