Punching in a full day and an unexpected math test at school equals taking a day off tomorrow Don't ask me how that works, I just do what I gotta do

I just landed on some old notes from when I did psychology and oh man I miss it and it all makes so much sense now. Just thought I'd share a few of them as I agree so much and have felt like a minority for a while: "Majorities aren't the only source of influence, but influence targets who are deviant minorities, they don't just refuse to conform but question the validity of the majority" (Wood et al 1994) The desire to be distinguished from others risk disapproval. In order to proclaim our own uniqueness, we need to maintain a personal identity unaffected by others opinion.

I wish I were older. I want to be a therapist and I have to wait freaking years for it. I want to help people for a living but nooo high school wants to prepare me with math and science that I will NEVER use outside of school related things. ....
