And why does their ending feel so damn conformed?? There has to be a reason, right? They all have their hair combed, slicked back, and dressed in their Sunday best. I know they just graduated but damn. The coloring is even surreal and different and mimics Henry’s mindscape. They’re being so proper, with the exception of Max throwing a fit saying it bullshit and Mike’s ending is trite. And like Dustin said, “we stay true to ourselves and our friends” —and Dustin cut his hair.. but you know. Conformity is killing the kids.

But also look at the lock around Will’s neck… the ever elusive lock that wasn’t resolved.. it’s just a fashion statement. Right?

Or is Mike still the KEY that is yet to be used?

Either way, this game is diabolical.

I know I sound crazy and out of my mind.. but if I think there is still a chance that Byler can have closure, then god help me, I will keep on with these theories..and die on this hill we’ve been running up

Nancy and Robin look conformed, too. I know they’re trying to appear 22 & 23, but damn. And Steve even mentioned something about being able to afford a house or some shit?? WHAT. And being all proper drinking from red cups like the bad ass ladies they are. It’s alright.. we’re professional business ladies now. The vibe is off for their characters istg. Was this the plot twist? This is not the stranger things I watched.
