#school schooting

Thoughts and prayers are nice when they’re coming from people who truly care but can’t really do much else. When government officials give their thoughts and prayers, unless they’re actually trying to change laws, they mean nothing. NOTHING.

The sad thing about all of these shootings happening is I find my self less and less surprised or scared. When I saw the news alert for Santa Fe today, I didn’t freak out or really have any emotion, which scares even me because it means I’ve gotten so used to these alerts and threats and I almost expect them to have shown up by lunch time. Our generation is becoming numb to the threats to our lives, and it’s not okay. It doesn’t matter if you’re conservative or liberal or choose not to identify; you shouldn’t be comfortable with people having easy access to things that put others’ lives in danger. This isn’t a joke- people are being killed because no one with any power cares enough to do anything. It needs to change

Why are ten more people dead in an American School? Why does this keep happening? CHILDREN ARE DYING. ANY SCHOOL COULD BE NEXT. WHY IS NOTHING BEING DONE?! To much blood has been spilled in American schools. End gun violence. Spare kids lives. Let kids have an education, don't send them to an early grave.
