Witching Hour Academy was founded centuries ago, being one of the first big-name schools for girl magicians. Despite it’s long history, the school is proud to not shackle itself by tradition.

Witching Hour very much acts as a meritocracy.

A perfect record won't guarantee you get in, and some blemishes on your trajectory won't mean you'll be turned away. It's more important that you manage to impress the teachers and show promise.

It means no one can buy their way in and to the top. (ie. Kalim being Dorm Leader)

It also means there's no place for people who aren't close to/haven't shown their full potential yet. (ie. Deuce reforming)

Durmstrang (Hobi’s school of origin before coming to Hogwarts): Scandinavian wizarding school. Accepts students from abroad, but has never accepted Muggle born students. Durmstrang is a castle surrounded by lakes and mountains, making it nearly impossible to approach by nonmagical means, and, like most wizarding schoos, is Unplottable, meaning it can’t be found on any maps, and its location is concealed, even from wizards who have no dealings with the school. 

Durmstrang is notorious for its acceptance of the Dark Arts, and was known to have educated many wizards before their ascension as Dark Wizards. The Dark Arts, also known as Dark Magic, refers to any type of magic that is mainly used to cause harm, control, or even death to the victim. Despite being labelled "dark", the Dark Arts are not necessarily "evil".The Dark Arts encompass many spells and actions ranging from the powerful Unforgivable Curses to brewing harmful or poisonous potions to breeding Dark creatures such as Basilisks, Dementors or Inferi, and its practice is often illegal or at least discouraged. 

The general understanding and belief is that if you are not a Dark Wizard, Durmstrang is a terrifying place. Certainly not safe for a Slytherpuff like Hobi.

Beauxbatons (Jimin’s school before coming to Hogwarts):                  French wizarding school, located in the southern part of the country. Accepts students from other countries, generally Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Belgium. The school itself is a castle, surrounded by gardens and fountains. These are deceptive--anyone entering the area who does not have a legitimate reason to visit the school soon become hopelessly lost. Like Durmstrang, it is unplottable. 

Beauxbatons has a friendly rivalry with Hogwarts based on both headmasters’ opinions that their school is better. Despite the overall cordial relationship between the two schools, students who attend Beauxbatons are encouraged to be opportunistic and to prioritize themselves over others. Most families who send their children to the school were either neutral or on Voldemort’s side during the last war, because they genuinely thought he would win, not because they agreed with his philosophies. 

Beauxbatons also has a reputation of being incredibly exclusive. If a student is problematic in any way, real or imagined, the staff encourages other students to retaliate against that person, usually without bothering to investigate the situation first and see who is at fault. When there is a scandal, like the one Jimin was a part of, it is almost part of the curriculum to make the participants pay for their mistakes, real or imagined. 

All students will attend classes. Classes include basic Math, history, and english, as well as special courses strictly for Dominants and Submissives, including things such as "Punishment and Reward" "Implements of Discipline" "The Art of Submission" ect. 

Each Sub has a roommate. They have one room together that has two small beds, two dressers, and two desks. The rooms are fairly plain and simple but they may hang things on the walls or whatever if they wish to. 

Dominants each have their own room. Dom rooms each come equipped with a personal bathroom, and double bed, television, dresser and desk. The rooms are more elaborate and predecorated. 

In the real world, the term "slave" is considered derogatory or offensive to use when referring to a submissive, however at Blackwell that may not uphold. 

The school also has a gym, an outdoor track, a pool, a medical ward, a cafeteria, and each headmaster has an office. 

The headmasters have roomes that are suites including the bathroom, and a separated bedroom and office. 

Around the school one can find wait staff and security to assist in anything that students may need. 

There are a small set of "punishment rooms" in the basement. They are plain stone rooms equipped with cots, benches, chairs, rope, implements of punishment, and whatever else students may need, though each dominant's room comes equipped with a whip, paddle, set and of handcuffs.
