The French composer (originally from Germany), from the late Baroque period, Henri-Joseph Rigel (1741–1799), published in Paris in 1770 a collection of harpsichord pieces in various keys for beginners practicing the harpsichord (Pièces de Clavecin mêlées de Préludes pour les Commençants, Op. 5). We are playing on our Martin Sassmann spinet the little Prelude 1 and the Minuet that immediately follows. ((My injured left thumb is the result of a painful burn I got in the kitchen…).
