I order Pizza Hut solely because I can get it without cheese; if I could still eat cheese, I'd definitely prefer Dominoe's
I can get Dominoās, but I hate theĀ āflavorizedā crust on their regular pizza, which tastes like tinfoil to me. And you canāt really order it no-flavor, like, you can try puttingĀ āNO TERRIBLE GARLIC GREASEā in the notes but they will usually still add it in, thereās noĀ āno flavorā checkbox.Ā
So when I order from them I usually order the pan style, and thatās a flip of a coin as to whether the middle of the pizza will be raw dough (or, if you ask them to cook it well-done, whether it will just be straight-up burned). And again itās that $4 delivery fee, which because that doesnāt go to the driver really means an $8 delivery fee....
I still risk it once in a while, but these days every time I think about ordering dominoās itās likeĀ āIs it worth risking $8 on top of the cost of the food?ā

I have to ask, how do you need a car to get a little ceasars? because the last time I bought them on the regular I picked them up on my bicycle.
Several obstacles intervened :D For one, Iām not terribly comfortable riding my bike on the street in Chicago; Iāve seen too many heinous accidents because Chicago drivers just straight-up donāt give a shit who else is on the road, so I stick to parks and trails when I ride. Also, I donāt ride outside if the weather is below 45F.Ā
But mostly itās because until recently, the closest Little Caesars was a 12 mile round trip. Which is doable, but not really pleasant. Balancing a pizza on the handlebars isnāt something Iām into, and itād be cold by the time it arrived anyway.Ā Plus like...I like Little Caesars but itās not worth a 12 mile bike ride in urban Chicago. If Iām not going to get it brought to me hot, itās not really a good ROI for me.Ā
Recently one opened up at 31st and somethingorother, which is much closer, but the food would still be cold by the time I got home.Ā Ā

So Art of Pizza is decent? They're forever and always advertising at my place, but if I hold out someone at work will eventually order Beggar's for their team and have leftovers, so I haven't purchased pizza in months. I need to branch out from "places I've tried before" and "free" as my only two sources.
Eh, theyāre okay -- tastier than just āedibleā, but nothing to write home about. Iāve only had the pan, and Iāve never ordered a full pie fresh, so maybe itās better when itās not a heatlamp slice. The one I go to just opened in the loop and everyone is SUPER STOKED because apparently Art of Pizza is a Big Fucking Deal in some areas, but Iām not sure why.Ā

My boyfriend needs a super low sodium diet, so I've been making pizza at home more lately. It's not difficult and you could make some that is better.
I donāt care for homemade pizza -- if you use skim mozzarella then the cheese is fine, but the sauce always tastes weird to me, and usually the crust is pretty foul too, unless you make a proper yeast crust, which is a pain in the ass. Obvs. if you have special dietary needs itās the way to go, but Iāll usually just buy a frozen one, itās less work and marginally more edible.Ā
