So I just flew through The Impressionist, and while horror is not really my genre, I am kind of intrigued...
Tbh what really convinced me was the fact that George is genderfluid in it, because there's so little representation of us and I love to see it!!!

OMG I’m so flattered!!! The Impressionist is something that I came up with kind of randomly a few months ago; some sequences were popping through my head and suddenly I thought “gosh, wouldn’t Charles be such a great protagonist for this story?” And the whole thing just came like that.
Genderfluid George kind of started off as a joke between myself and my family because I accidentally referred to him with she/ her pronouns and it’s stuck ever since. I’m genderfluid myself and thought it’d be fun to make my own representation heheheh!
As for the horror I knew from the onset that it wouldn’t appeal to a very large audience since it’s one of those genres that doesn’t cater to everybody. What I can say without any spoilers is that it won’t be super intense, that it’s mostly symbolic/ psychological since that’s the kind of horror that I love! I love horror as a literary device especially for character studies!
Thank you so much for giving my fic a go! I would love to read some of yours so if you have one you’d like me to try in particular please hit me up!
P.S the next chapter is from George’s POV!
