Ally’s appreciation to Steve and the rest of “Team Cap” could not be verbally or physically expressed, but after months of being with them either in Wakanda or on the run Ally needed a break. After getting into telepathic contact with Professor Xavier, she made arrangements to stay at the school for a couple of weeks. He had pushed for longer, but Ally had no desire to put the school in the UN’s crosshairs; staying for any time at all seemed like a selfish thing to do, but he assured her she would always be welcome.
Within a couple days, Ally arrives on the mansion’s lawn with nothing but a backpack on and she’s greeted by the Professor with a welcoming smile. “Hey, Professor. It’s good to see you.” After a hug, they made their way inside.
“We’ve set up your old room for you so you have some sense of normalcy,” he said as they headed in the direction of her old room. “However, there is a student already living there.”
“Oh. That’s okay. I didn’t think the room just stayed vacant after I graduated.” When they got to the door, Professor Xavier knocked twice on the door before opening it. Ally smiled when she saw the familiar room and when the noticed a blonde girl who looked about her age she reached a hand out to shake. “Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Ally. I used to live in this room.”
