UH OH.
My high school ten year reunion got planned in a kinda shitty way, where now the PRICE to attend is $40 per person, and it's taking place AT THE SCHOOL. For $40, people have been suggesting so many better locations and fun activities, etc. And the only people that seem to want to go to the official reunion (and can afford to give up $40) are people I don't know and never talked to me the whole time anyway.
So I saw some people grumbling about it (and making list articles about "10 better ideas") and thought there might be a supplementary reunion getting planned... and there wasn't.
So I started it. And now it's the "anti-reunion" and at least my friends want to come! But I don't want to shit on "all the work" the party planners did (all the work being: ignoring suggestions, sending invites to parents' on-file addresses, talking only to their friends about the plans, being pretty bad at communicating when asking about when it should be, etc etc) and this mini reunion is going to be the next week, not competing with the  real one.
But I'm finally the rebellious antiestablishment kid at the school, instead of the sleepy nerd who doesn't swear and never gets invited to the house parties.
