9. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?
I enjoy writing--if I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't have made it my career (for a time) and I wouldn't do it in my free time. That said, writing has been really hard for me these past few years and a lot of times it feels like a struggle.
Since I'm currently working on a longer WIP, I wasn't planning to work on anything else, but I was at work on the Monday before Thanksgiving and I suddenly felt inspired to write something sweet and comforting. (November was a hard month for me for a lot of reasons, and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.) Thanksgiving is always a busy time because my husband likes to host and he does most of the cooking, so I end up being the Jack to his Bitty. I wanted to write a little something about that and ended up with You and Me on the Rock . I set it in the same future I imagined for Jack and Bitty in Happily Ever After, After All, and it was so much fun to return to that world.
24. Did you do anything special to celebrate finishing a fic?
I posted the fic! Really, the way I celebrate finishing a fic is taking some time away from writing to focus on other hobbies. Usually that means starting a new book or reading a fic I've bookmarked for later.
