For decades, high-profile figures like former Antiquities Minister Dr. Zahi Hawass have held absolute, centralized control over who is allowed to scan, dig, or speak about the pyramids.

National Geographic and Netflix: The Slow-Drip Media Cycle

Critics note that discoveries are rarely released all at once.

Instead, anomalies are teased to major networks (like National Geographic or Netflix) for massive documentary payouts, creating a lucrative, self-sustaining loop of "investigation" where the gatekeepers control exactly how much of the truth the public is allowed to see.

What ScanPyramids Actually "Discovered"

The ScanPyramids Project—a joint venture between Cairo University and the French HIP Institute—uses Muon Tomography (tracking cosmic ray particles passing through stone) to see through the monument.

Their findings are scientifically verified, but the way they are handled fuels suspicion.

On November 2, 2017, the ScanPyramids team announced, through a publication in Nature, its third discovery in the Great Pyramid, a "plane-sized" previously unknown void named the "ScanPyramids Big Void".

The North Face Corridor (2023): They confirmed a hidden, 30-foot-long corridor sealed behind the chevron stones on the pyramid’s face.

The Controversy

When these findings were published in Nature, traditional Egyptian authorities immediately pushed back, aggressively downplaying the discovery.

They claimed it wasn't a "secret chamber" but merely a structural gap left by the builders to distribute weight.

This constant back-and-forth leaves the public wondering if the authorities are genuinely skeptical or if they are actively covering up structural realities to protect their own historical narratives.
