“Usually when things has gone this far, people tend to disappear...” Simon sat on the bed, looking down in a mixture of anxiety and sadness. “No one will surprise me unless you do.” The boy looked up at the other, sighing. “Please don’t just leave...or if you do, just go now.”

      stepping out of the ring, andrea grabbed a towel and her water bottle before heading over to see a fellow newcomer. “dude-- please tell me you saw that last hit? it was probably the hardest and most accurate punch i’ve ever landed.” she paused to take a long drink off her bottled, letting out a heavy exhale after swallowing. “it’s shitty that it was during sparring though because that’s not what gets us recognized, you know?” her shoulders bob up and down twice before she sighed. “how’d your match go? i was in the locker room making myself look fresh.” there’s a playful wink before andrea starts laughing.

“you can set yourself on fire but you’re never going to burn.”

“are you going already? please stay a little longer. i’ll treat you to coffee.”
