Brick from PPG in my heart always be old man core to me. He reads as someone who grew up too young and may struggle with socialization as a teenager who’s only ever been a leader(parent) to his brothers.
Like give me Brick that’s easily irritated and overly practical but gets autistically overstimulated around too much chaos. Give me Brick with dark circles and too much knowledge of taxes, medical insurance and general adult knowledge as a young 15 year old.
Give me a Brick that holds a massive amount of resentment for authority figures (because he was left on his own as a kid) like it reads as bad boy rebel but he’s rightfully angry. Like stray dog with complex ptsd and a plan.
Brick has to completely hate outside authority. I want him to fear people’s secret motives and have heavy duty trust issues to juxtapose against Blossoms blatant fawn responses to the authorities in her own life.
