Back to thinking about boomer from sbj more than human, and some notes from my last statement I wanna bring up. I really do think boomer loves bubbles, I think boomer has only ever wanted something due to greed, reiterating from a last post, he was like a dragon with a horde only wanting the prettiest best things, and people's attention. I think his infatuation with bubbles started in that way, wanting the prettiest, cutest girl in school. He wanted one of the "untouchables." But as he got into a relationship with her and "won" her, he actually fell in love. That was new to him, wanting something, needing something, not just because of greed but because he loves her. In the beginning he probably just wanted to have bubbles to prove he could, like a child getting a new toy, and he was probably ready to throw her away the second something "better" came along. But he can't do that now, because he actually wants her. This is no excuse for his actions, but I do think how he's acting is just because he doesn't know how to deal with his new feelings, so he reverts back to what he knows.
I really do hope for him to get better, I do think for maybe Abit the blues are gonna break up and get back together. He needs to learn to be a good person without bubbles, he needs to learn to be a good person not because bubbles won't date him otherwise but because his moral compass actually is changing.
Currently every good deed he does I feel like he'd only do because bubbles is gonna hear about it, like helping an old lady cross the street because he knew bubbles was flying overhead. He's only good for transactional purposes, be it improving his reputation, or having bubbles love him more, he's never good just because he wants to be.

How do you think bunny and her death impacted the girls wellbeing just curious
They created bunny in an effort to lower the work load on themselves that was placed their by the adults in their lives with no offer of backup or any real support outside of the one episode where their dad decided to start stepping up as a makeshift iron man.
Bunny was deformed and made poorly, but like them she just wanted to make the people around her happy. At the end of the episode after making a mess of things she dissolves. I think the girls were very upset by this, confused and maybe a bit scared internally.
I don’t know if any of the adults around them knew that they did this but I think witnessing another being that is like them dissolve like that with little to no care of anyone around them felt normal. They are desensitized at this point in time to bad things happening to them. Every punishment from authority, every hit from an adult criminal is just normal everyday stuff. The takeaway they have subconsciously is that they don’t matter like people do. Bunny was little more than a creature, just like they are little more than intelligent creatures.
I absolutely think it had an impact on the girls. I think that situation, along with everything else, that has gone on in their life has over time watered down their own sense of worth and value as beings. The girls are not human. They aren’t even a real species. They are best described as lab experiments that happen to be sentient and powerful.
They mourned her the way you would mourn an animal you cared about.

confession, I log in very infrequently to check whether or not more than human has updated.. I still hold this so so close to my heart even if im not really actively keeping up with the fandom anymore!
also seeing all my other old mutuals becoming inactive alongside me makes me so sad like if I want to rejoin the fandom ever (although very unlikely) I would miss them so so much
