My heart bleeds for those in Florida who will be forced to detransition. For those kids who will be taken by the state for being "at risk of gender affirming care". For those trying to flee to another state but are unable to legally do so. For those children with hormone issues from leukaemia treatment who's hormone therapy is at risk. For those families with a trans parent being deemed an automatic risk.

SB254 "Grant(s) courts of this state (FL) temporary emergency jurisdiction over a child present in this state if the child has been subjected to or is threatened with being subjected to sex-reassignment prescriptions or procedures; ..."

Even if you're just visiting Florida, even if you haven't actually gotten them a prescription, even if no procedures have been done, the state can take your child if someone thinks you might "threaten" to do so.
