They are a Filipino boy group with 5 members, (L-R: Pablo, Justin, Ken, Stell,Josh ). They are the first ever Filipino act to be nominated in this category. It would be a great help if you vote for them starting today, til May 21st. We are up against bigger fandoms, but we want to give our best as well.

The way I observe this in people is how they describe the world around them. How they answer questions.

Pablo 🌭 - Intuition (N)

He is a very strong N from what I have observed so far. Just read the lyrics to his songs and you can tell it’s an N who wrote them. He is very metaphorical. His strong N is what makes him think up titles like MAPA and make it represent Mama and Papa, Mata (Eyes) and Paa (Feet), AND map - our parents being the metaphorical map of our lives. This is also illustrated in the SB19 Artwork for MAPA episode when he presented his artwork. Where others took a more literal approach (in a spectrum of course 😊) - he drew his MAPA as the dots and line in the middle of his drawing with the dots representing emotions and how in times of darkness and happiness, he’ll always go back to his center (ie family). This is also why he’s not into small talk 😅 he prefers deeper conversations about concepts and ideas.

Josh 🍢 - Sensing (S)

He’s a strong S. This is illustrated by how detailed he answers questions, especially when he’s asked to describe something or an event. Probably why people say he’s talkative though he’s an Introvert. I wasn’t surprised he won the Category Game in their PopCinema with SB19 interview. Highly preferring S means he can think up of lists very easily. In his MAPA drawing, he drew what he wanted to give to his MAPA rather than present the idea of what MAPA means. This shows how grounded he is on practicality and reality rather than abstract concepts. This also explains how great he is at making microexpressions like in his What? elevator scene.

Stell 🍓 - Sensing (S)

He is an S but not as strong as Josh. He also gives a lot of details when asked questions. In his MAPA drawing, he literally presented his MAPA, being his grandparents. This is also why he’s good at their song games, he pays attention to and remembers details and facts about songs. This also explains their very detailed point choreography where he puts an action to every beat and their micro-movements (for want of a better word - I’m not a dancer but this is the only descriptor I can think of 😅).

Ken 🐥 - Intuition (N)

He is not a very obvious N (unlike Pablo) as he is also an Introvert so the way his N manifests is harder to spot. However, I think he’s an N based on how he answers questions - he gives broad ideas rather than details or sometimes just quips a one-liner that just ends the conversation. In MAPA as well, there was a lot of metaphor in his work and he used colors to represent ideas - like the darker color of the clothes representing the pain parents go through and how he represented being apart from his parents as a slash of white separating the mom from the baby.

Justin 🌽 - Balanced Sensing (S) and Intuition (N)

Among all of them, it was hardest for me to determine Justin’s preference. In what I’ve seen so far, he’s very balanced and hasn’t really shown a strong preference for either. He’s very meticulous about details but at the same time he loves to talk about what things mean or represent. It’s his S that makes him add easter eggs in their music videos and get to the minutest detail of the presentation or visual. At the same time, his N helps him think of concepts and metaphors. Being a creative person, he may be an N with a very well-developed S. In his MAPA artwork, he represented himself and his brothers as airplanes with his parents guiding them from the side, which shows N - use of metaphors.
