Basically, in Australia at the moment they are going ahead with the Adani group coal mine. The Carmichael coal mine is set and is going to not only impact our environment but our Great Barrier Reef will be facing extinction and is going to have catastrophic impact that will be irreversible. Now this is where I need your help. The mine is set to take place in the Galiee Basin in central Queensland, and this area of land belongs to the Wangan and Jagalingou People who are the proud Traditional Owners (Indigenous Australians) and have been for thousands of years. For my followers who don’t know much about Australia’s Indigenous Peoples, land is such an important aspect for their cultural identity. Traditional lands keep Indigenous Australians interconnected and living with the land.
