09: Which writer(s) inspire you?
MUN-DAY ASKS
Ah well my person collection of books range all over the place. I don’t exactly have an author who inspires me per say. I’m also the kind of person that even if I hate the book I’ll finish it (along with the whole damn series too). So I can’t really stick it to one person as they haven’t really inspired. At least not since I was still in Grade school.
Let’s pull from my personal blog that's dusty right now and recall some fantastic fanfic writers.
~SAWild I originally saw their work on FF.net but they religiously followed them because of ROE once I found out they made a tumblr. As a huge NCIS Fan I’ve read through ROE once...and that’s because I’m still patiently waiting for the maybe one day, come back of them. I don’t know I just loved it? Every single chapter and the dedication they put into writing ROE. It’s what the fandom needed at the time. Currently they have not updated their stories/finished them in 2013 with the acceptation of and update in 2016 to add onto ROE Book 2.
~ @aksannyi (Shhh Juila let me tag you in my RP blog) I think I’ve read almost all of Juila’s work when it comes to NCIS give or take within the last few months since I haven’t ventured onto my other blog unless it was for a few minutes. Fantastic writer. I love absolutely everything about what she writes. Like I don’t think I can correctly express how amazing she is. I wish I could write and tell a tale just as good as her. If you get a chance please check her out! Especially if your a Tiva Shipper, (Ah I mentioned NCIS which I am no longer a fan of. Seasons 1-10 only.)
^^So those two and a ton more have really I guess inspired me to want to write. I’d say they were my bases. And now I guess I’m writing. Oh wow only took years for that to happen. Let’s give a quick mention to some other RP blogs here... @spikyhairedsilhouette, @statexfstasis, and @quiet-kunoichi. Also there’s others too I just want to tag them and these three came to mind first.
But they have a very distinct way of writing. It terrifies me a bit still even after we’ve interacted before. But seeing their threads and getting to read them really makes me want to become a better writer.
