Jigsaw (2017) When a new batch of bodies start turning up in the city, a new hunt for the deceased jigsaw is underway. There’s an old saying, ‘let sleeping dogs lie’. It applies perfectly to this reboot and they should have just left it where it was. Although Saws tenure wasn’t a particularly emphatic one, it brought a new sort of horror to the scene, the mystery and gory nature was unique at first and had something good. Yes it faded, and it wasn’t great towards the end but at least it called it a day... or so we thought. Reboots are sometimes a blessing and other times a curse, this is one that should have been left alone. It just doesn’t do anything for the series other than overcomplicate things and create more unanswered questions. I mean you know it’s bad when even Clousers soundtrack doesn’t even stand out anymore. There’s the odd bit of intelligence that works, and some of the traps are cool. But at this point, saw needed a miracle, and this reboot really wasn’t it. Overall, this isn’t one of the worst films you’ll ever watch, but it’s one of the worst saws. It’s pretty pointless, doesn’t offer much and probably should have been left alone. #JigsawMovie #SawTheMovie #Saw2017 #SawReview #Saw2017Review #Saw8Review #SawMovieReview #Omareviews #Horror #HorrorMovie #HorrorMovieReview #Sawathon #SawMarathon #Jigsaw #JigsawKiller #HorrorFilm #HorrorReview #SerialKiller #Cinephile #CharlieClouser #TobinBell #SawFranchise #ScottPatterson #CostasMandylor #BetsyRussell https://www.instagram.com/p/CKojGCZFCFf/?igshid=12ygm6w5g9855
