Thank you so much for the tag @geekymoviemom 💜
1. Am I named after someone?
Nope. Well a city I guess, so yes.
2. The last time I cried?
I don't like crying. As an adult I've learned that it isn't weak to cry and it's a good stress reliever, but I still fight it, irrationally. I read tragic things , happy sappy things or realistic angst to just get out a good cry, so it might have been while reading the epilogue of "Sins of our Fathers" by @geekymoviemom or "Upside Down Flowers" by @awkwardeverlark or Ch 16 of Outside Expectations by @katnissdoesnotfollowback
4. Do I use sarcasm often?
5. The first thing I notice about someone?
Usually their expression, then their mannerisms, body language. Do they have hard lines on their face, prominent smile lines, too much make up? Hands tell you a lot about someone's life as well. I like to read people and I've worked a lot of customer/public facing roles. Fascinating.
Olive green. Pale. "Puke green with blue and gold sprinkled in." Is my son's description. 😆
7. Scary movie or happy ending?
Scary, suspense, and gore is fine if I know what I'm in for and there's an investigative element, solving a mystery. I’m not a horror fan though, I need more plot. This sounds weird but I need a more hopeful ending now that I'm a mom. People change.
I have a musical family, sang my first solo at 6yrs old and had professional vocal training from 8th-11th grade. I know enough to know I'm not an amazing singer, that I'm happy singing on occasion and don't want to be front and center. I have a passion for drawing and painting, and art, separate from my parent's talents. 😉 I received state recognition in high school for my artwork, was accepted to study at Art Institute my junior year of college and... I small talk and working with people on a professional level. (Leaves out All the fundamental flaws I have. 😏)
Drawing, writing, reading, home-improvement projects, outdoor activities, and getting involved in my children's interests.
My kids have 2 cats, Oliver and Kit.
12. Sports I play/have played?
Soccer in college, co-ed club soccer in my early 20's, skiing, ice skating and street hockey on occasion.
14. Favourite subject in school?
Good question. Undecided. I'm happy and I like that life changes and I have the flexibility to change my mind. I'm at a point in my life where I want to see my husband achieve his dreams and help him get there.
Thanks again @geekymoviemom 💜. You're a great friend. This was fun!
