IF YOU'RE NEW HERE, START AT THE BOTTOM (Introduction)
I said I wasn’t going to give you a lot of URLs, and I’m not, but there is one that you will find extremely useful: drugstore.com.
It has everything that a regular drugstore has. It has lots of sales. If you order over a certain amount (which changes but is currently $35), shipping is free. Depending on where you live, there's no sales tax.
The huge advantage of drugstore.com is that you will no longer have to carry home a lot of large, bulky items: 12-packs of toilet paper and paper towels, gallons of laundry detergent and bleach and fabric softener, and so on.
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, fluoride rinse.
Over-the-counter painkillers, allergy medication, vitamins, laxatives; bandaids, gauze, tape, wound salve.
Body lotion, bath soap, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, makeup.
Laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach, non-chlorine bleach, stain remover.
Disposable razors, razor blades, shaving foam.
Plastic wrap, aluminum foil, waxed paper, zip-lock bags, garbage bags.
Shampoo, conditioner, hair gel.
Dish soap, dishwasher soap, drying agent, rubber gloves.
Toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, flushable moist wipes, cotton balls.
Wet and dry mopping cloths and dusters, all cleaning products.
They also carry some nonperishable food items.
You can set up your own shopping list on the site, “shop” the products you use, and put them on your list. Then, when you need something, just go down the list and check off the items. In a few days, it will all be delivered to your front door, saving you many trips and lots of schlepping.
