Guys!!! There is this article about why they should bring Selfie tv show back and I just want to make sure everyone see it and knows about it and give the article some love, cause maybe it will happen? I know itās been years, but for me, I just found out about this show and I really think it was ahead of itās time and it needs to come back!!!! Also created a voting thing on hulu so we can request the episodes be back on there.
I got to speak with Karen Gillan during a virtual meet & greet. I was really nervous.. It went by really quickly and the chat ended immediately when timeās up. But I did ask about Selfie. :)

Me: Would you happen to know if the Warner Brothers could put Selfie on multiple streaming services like HBO Max, Netflix, Amazon Prime because a lot of fans wanted to rewatch the show?
Karen Gillan: Yes, that actually sounds like a really good idea. I don't know how any of that works. But I think it would be really cool for people to have a way to watch it because I've just never seen such a following for a show that has been off the air for so long. It's incredible that people still love it that much. It's really nice.Ā
Me: I think there are even some people who weren't able to actually finish watching it because they didn't have Hulu, so it would be great if it was on multiple streaming services and like more countries could see it and translate it too.Ā
KG: Yes. Yeah, I think you're absolutely right. I'm going to try and make it happen. Here's hoping.Ā
Me: I don't know if you already knew this, but a friend told me that the show is actually quite popular in China.
KG: Really?Ā
Me: Like a lot of fans. Yes. Are you familiar with Weibo?Ā
KG: Yes! Iām on Weibo.
Me:Ā So a lot of people will talk about it almost every day because there's a viral video between you (as Eliza) and John Choās character on the show.Ā
KG: Really? Oh my gosh. I had no idea.Ā
Me: Thereās even a section about the fandom on Wikipedia.
KG: [laughs] Oh my gosh. I'm gonna have a look at that.Ā
Me: Do you happen to know if a reunion is possible because I know that you've mentioned it in interviews before and John Cho has also mentioned a movie and things like that?
KG: Oh my gosh. A movie would be really, really fun. I don't know if we're gonna do a reunion of any kind, but like if somebody wanted to do it, I would so be there for that. Like I had such a good time making the show and I think we both just loved our characters so much, me and John. And I love working with Emily Kapnek, the creator and writer. So if somebody wanted to do it, I would be there in a heartbeat. I think that would be good.
Me: Maybe another project?
KG: Maybe a different project! That would be good. We could play different characters, but yeah. That would be really fun.
Me: I was thinking maybe a rom-com action film. [laughs]
KG: Oh my gosh. That's such a good idea. Okay, I love all these ideas! Keep them coming. I'm going to go to Emily Kapnek and be like, āThe fans have spoken!ā [laughs]
Me: I know the show has been off air for a long time, but do you happen to know if there were any like unscripted lines or improvised scenes or any just interesting stories?Ā
KG: I think you know what? We actually didn't improvise that much, which is funny because since then I've become like really, really into improvisation and do it a lot now on any project, but prior to that I just didn't. I kind of stuck to the script. It was like very specifically written and so funny and long monologues for me. And so, I think I just kind of played around with the delivery rather than playing around with the words themselves. Like each time I did it, it would have like a different emotion behind it, but the same words.Ā
Me: Do you know if you have an idea of what Henry and Eliza's married life would be?Ā
KG: Oh my gosh, he would be like super neat and complaining at her for like being a mess for sure and she'd be like, āLighten up!āĀ

I found this show on Hulu and just watched the last episode. It hit home, but I love/hate how they still ended up being friends and thereās a linger that they might or might not end up together. Either way, def want more! This cancellation is more of a block than Charmonique!
Hi, everybody. Iāve gotten busier of late, but I wanted to let you know Iām still inching forward to SelfieFic number 20. Apparently, I still have much to write, and this new piece will be relatively short (hint: weather theme). There are 2 longer pieces I have in my mind, and my muse is kicking my ass because she wonāt let those 2 big story ideas go; both of which need fleshing out and a lot of work yet to do.
