If every older generation thought this, it’s a big problem as it means lots of people just won’t contact their local government. So please

•It will affect internet users around the globe not just in EU.

•Memes, fanfiction, edits, parody...any content made on exisiting copyrighted content will all become a thing of the past: they infringe copyright law within the EU.

•Companies that project their content worldwide will usually choose to abide by the strictest laws and engage one policy for all users reflecting Article 13's law. Remember the tumblr email earlier this year updating the 'private policy'? This 'General Data Protection Regulation' was only passed in the EU, but worldwide companies including Tumblr, Twitter, Reddit, Google and Instagram changed their polices to match it for ALL USERS.

•The detailing of the law is intentionally vague, allowing them to stop anything with the potential to be law infringing to be uploaded in the first place.
