We’re beyond pleased with the performance of season six of Community. More than 50% of viewers are new to Yahoo and they’re engaging with more content throughout our network than average new users.

And the crowd goes wild… the Darkest Timeline is over. “Community” is coming to Yahoo! Beginning later this Fall, tune into Yahoo for the highly-anticipated sixth season, with 13 new episodes available exclusively on Yahoo Screen.  

I honestly have some hope that Community will actually live on. I really think that show has the most vocal fanbase it's incredible. The reason the show lasted five season was due, in no small part, to the fans. Dan Harmon and the cast have said that time, and time again. I wish it could've gotten away from NBC a season or two ago, but oh well. I really think it would prosper on Netflix. It's made for that demographic. The people who spend lots of time on their computers, and on social media. I always thought the show was "streets ahead" and the best way to compliment that is to be ahead of the norm.

Orange Is The New Black, and House of Cards are two Netflix originals that are widely popular, and the viewership trumps that of many primetime television shows. Because it's easily accessible, and on the hottest media platform right now. I keep saying this, but I really think Community would be right at home on Netflix. Also, I think the view counts would be so much higher on there, and a lot more definitive than the television ratings. I have faith that we can, yet again, give this show new life. I'm sure the cast wouldn't be opposed to continue on. They love the show as much as we do. If not only for another season, and a movie (which could premiere on Netflix!) To me personally, it seems like the recipe for success. I honestly believe that. The only other show I've ever been this passionate about is Scrubs, which NBC also shat on time, and time again. ABC picked it up for the last (proper) season, and even tried to relaunch a spinoff! NBC has a history of terrible decisions that rivals FOX. 

I urge everyone to contact Netflix or Hulu or whichever medium they believe would suit our beloved television show best, and show them how much you care. In the end, it's all about our eyes as well as our wallets. Which is something everyone is interested in.
